Today started with a Presentation at Somerset house...
Craig Lawrence
The knitwear designer formerly created knits for Gareth Pugh has created his own distinct signature style, using fine metallic yarns to create delicate elegant dresses with laddered paneling. The presentation room was packed, a knitted installation hanging from the ceiling with half sunk cubes acting as stools around the center of the room, the models positioned around the room. The presentation created a great mood for the garments.

Next to on|off exhibition and Simon Ekrelius Show..
The on|off exhibition this season show cased a great range of new British designers..

In particular I liked the innovation of Milliner Zara Gorman..

Her head wear used unusual materials to create interesting shapes.
Simon Ekrelius
Ekrelius's Collection called 'The Reflection' takes influence from the modern iconic building of London 'the gherkin' also referencing Grace Jones Harlequin as the silhouette we see a new take on the Harlequin look, A popular design inspiration in fashion is always hard to create a completely new take on it but I found Ekrelius's take refreshing and original.

The show saw models slowly pacing down the catwalk to eary french music.
