Started the day with the charlie Le mindu show at On|Off.
The cult hair stylist puts his skill to use to create sculptural wigs and garments, for his forth collection he maintained his London club cult image with pop pink and black hair teamed with leopard print trashy leotards. He is definitely a high light of London fashion week, the quirky shocking club kids style that gives London its unique edge on other cities. Fashion for the sake of fashion, Le mindu used fully nude models in his show, with focus on hair and accessories.
Then to somerset house for the Clemency Private screening of the s/s11 show reel shot by Rankin.
The Clemency presentation used a set live models, mannequins, photography and a show reel. the room was unlit with the models standing in the center shadowed in darkness, creating an atmosphere that really suited the grungy edge leathers and lace garments on show. They really did cover all aspects a presentation requires, it was great to be able to get up cloes to the clothing.
